I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for your generous snack donations to our classroom. Your kindness has made a meaningful and lasting impact on my students in ways that go far beyond a simple treat.\r\nFor many of my students, having access to snacks during the school day has helped meet a basic need that directly affects their ability to learn. When students are no longer distracted by hunger, they are more focused, engaged, and ready to participate in instruction. I have seen a noticeable improvement in their overall attitudes—students come to class more positive, motivated, and prepared to try their best.\r\nIn addition, these snack donations have contributed to improved academic performance. During testing periods and daily lessons, students have demonstrated increased stamina and concentration. This has translated into stronger performance, including growth in test scores and improved confidence in their abilities.\r\nEqually important is the impact on students' moods and emotional well-being. A simple snack provides comfort, stability, and a sense of care. It helps create a supportive classroom environment where students feel valued and supported, which is especially important for learners who may already face additional challenges.\r\nYour generosity is helping to remove barriers to learning and giving students the opportunity to succeed both academically and emotionally. I truly appreciate your support and commitment to making a difference in the lives of my students.\r\nThank you again for your kindness and continued support.","fullyFundedDate":1769177228520,"projectUrl":"project/winter-reset-with-snacks/9943667/","projectTitle":"Winter Reset With Snacks","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Toney","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/missat"},{"teacherId":3564059,"projectId":10056675,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous support in equipping our classroom with these essential, interactive tools. As an Intervention Specialist working with 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students, I'm always looking for meaningful ways to make learning interactive, accessible, and engaging—and these resources have done exactly that.\r\n\r\nOne of our favorite classroom moments was using the materials during a problem-solving challenge where students worked in teams to build, test, and redesign their creations. It was amazing to watch students who sometimes struggle in traditional academic settings become leaders, thinkers, and collaborators. They were asking questions, making predictions, testing ideas, and learning through trial and error—all while having fun.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, their reaction was pure excitement. There were smiles, cheers, and so many questions about what they would get to create. For many of my students, hands-on learning builds confidence because it allows them to explore concepts in a way that feels successful and meaningful.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue integrating these STEM resources into lessons focused on critical thinking, teamwork, and real-world problem solving. Students will be using the materials for engineering challenges, science investigations, and activities that strengthen math and reading comprehension through hands-on application. Because of your generosity, my students are not just learning—they are discovering, creating, and believing in their ability to succeed.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my classroom and in my students' future.
