Many of our student have limited outdoor play and we are fortunate to be able to offer them additional opportunities outside doing STEM activities. They can enjoy the fresh air as they create and learn.\r\n\r\nWhen we first saw the unopened box of Easy-Build-Bricks, the students were so curious they couldn't wait to see what was inside. As we pulled them put, they noticed they resembled the smaller leggo blocks we have in the class and knew exactly what they were! Because they were carefully stacked and packed in the box, it took some time to pull them apart before they started building with them. They enjoyed the unpacking as much as the building! \r\n\r\nIn the future we will continue to add more items to our new outdoor space. As other teachers and members of our staff see the children enjoying the blocks, they are even more supportive of the project and are thinking of ways to continue adding to it. The giant building blocks have been such a hit, we know we'll be adding more sets of blocks. As soon as the new resources arrived, my students gathered around with wide eyes and huge smiles, eager to explore. \r\n\r\nWe have already put the new resources to work. During a recent lesson, students used the materials to collaborate in small groups, problem-solve, and share their thinking with confidence. I watched students who are typically hesitant to participate light up as they engaged hands-on with the tools you provided. Our snow bins were truly sensational.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we will continue incorporating these materials into our current unit to deepen understanding, strengthen fine-motor skills, and encourage creativity.
