Because of your contributions, our students were able to actively participate in assembling each care package, which became a meaningful hands-on learning experience. Packaging the items helped them practice important job skills such as following multi-step directions, organizing materials, working collaboratively, and taking pride in a finished product. These are real-world skills they will carry with them into future employment opportunities.\r\n\r\nThe care packages themselves have also made a significant impact on our students' daily lives. Having access to essential hygiene and work-related supplies allows students to prepare before or after work with greater confidence and independence. Many of our students face barriers to accessing these items, and knowing they have what they need reduces stress and helps them focus on their responsibilities at work and in the classroom. This support reinforces the idea that they are capable, prepared, and valued as they transition into the workforce.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, the extra supplies from these care packages have allowed us to support other classrooms serving students with special needs. Sharing these resources has strengthened our school community and ensured that more students benefit from your generosity. Your kindness has had a ripple effect far beyond our classroom, and we are incredibly grateful for your commitment to supporting our students' growth, confidence, and success.","fullyFundedDate":1769177212437,"projectUrl":"project/clean-confident-hired/9907032/","projectTitle":"Clean, Confident, Hired!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. McCoy","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8971232_orig.png?crop=1169,1170,x0,y276&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1701792141497","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mskyleigh"},{"teacherId":8971232,"projectId":9404425,"letterContent":"When our materials arrived, my students lit up like someone had just handed them the keys to a candy store. Some students gasped, some cheered, and a few immediately ran their hands over the materials to explore how everything felt. The excitement turned into instant teamwork.
