Each student was glowing with excitement and spent all morning talking about how they loved the bright colors, the texture, and the shapes. We use the carpet for the majority of our instruction as it is where we meet for our core instruction times. The students enjoy getting to lay on the carpet to read their books and take a break. One of their favorite stations is the magnetic cubes that you provided. They like to separate the cubes by color and see who can build the best tower before combining the towers together into one large structure!\r\n\r\nWe recently began our unit on measurement and the students were excited to see and use the magnetic money! When they were looking at the magnetic money they were able to see the small details that separated one coin from the next. This helped them build their confidence in not only recognizing coins, but also determining the value of coins.
