Now he is understanding that our food stays on the table and he is using his chair to sit and eat. To start off the day, we used some of the food supplies to make our own robots. Students got to use their imaginations to come up with their robot design. This kept students busy for loads of time; they even wanted more time to use them again! Before the movie showing, students put together their other food robot and enjoyed popcorn during the movie. They are thrilled to learn unique and interesting things of our world. Each publication provides wonderful articles and pictures geared toward 8-9 year olds and has each of them engaged! You will see in the picture I have shared how excited my students are as they delve into their Scholastic News!\r\n\r\nThe laptop stand is wonderful! It is a useful adaptation to my teaching station, saving time as I transition teaching positions in front of the classroom. In addition, the chime instrument is a much better option in signalling quick, understood transitions, rather than announcements. The tone is subtle and pleasant.\r\n\r\nI am grateful for the option of the printed Scholastic News. Having a hard copy in front of my young readers, especially reluctant and lower leveled readers, I feel is much more beneficial to them. I love to see their excitement when they have a new one to read!
