The 15 drawer cart has all of our new math manipulatives in the drawers in the front of the room so we can get to them when we need them. On Thursday October 2, 2025 we were able to find our tens sticks and hundreds blocks that we needed for a multiplication lesson we were working on. \r\nOur ten drawer cart we use to turn in our homework each day. The drawers are labeled so we know where to turn in our papers and they are the first place we look when we think that we have not turned in our homework. \r\nWe were very excited to get these two items to help us learn to be responsible for our learning. We use one drawer for extra paper when we have to do long division to show our work. \r\nWe are able to keep all of our fraction pieces in the drawers in the 15 drawer cart so when we are ready for that step in math we know where to find those pieces.","fullyFundedDate":1746576552285,"projectUrl":"project/a-great-start-to-a-new-year/9266533/","projectTitle":"A Great Start to a New Year!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Johnson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10004201"},{"teacherId":9334137,"projectId":9141093,"letterContent":"Thank you again SO much for helping my 1st grade classroom! The supplies I was able to receive have helped keep my classroom calming while being organized. The students enjoy the items and they help them every single day. \r\n\r\nThe lights create a nice calming addition to our classroom, they are not too bright and we use them with the big lights both on and off. The students enjoy when they get to choose the color for the day. They seem to do better with the big lights off now that we have these added lights! \r\n\r\nThe alexa provides a simple way for the students to set timers, ask simple questions, and to play instrumental music to help focus. The students ask every time they do independent work if they can have music on to help focus! They enjoy having the device in our classroom! \r\n\r\nThe colored dots and containers helped label and organize all of our classroom materials which made is simpler for both the students and I to find what we need. The containers are all labeled with what is in them so it helps the students quickly find them. \r\n\r\nWithout these added materials you supported me with our classroom would not run as smoothly and be as enjoyable. The students truly enjoy having the classroom more organized so they can easily find what they need quickly. They also LOVE the lights and alexa in our classroom.
