This is my 16th year of teaching and by far has been the best. One GIANT reason for that is because of the space I was able to create from your funding. I know that my letter is late getting to you and the main reason for that is because of the safe space I was able to create for the high school students in my classroom, with your donation. \r\n\r\nMany students within our school have extremely difficult home lives outside of school. School becomes the only source of consistency for them. Through your donation I have been able to create a safe space for so many students. I had no idea how far within our school, this space would reach. Not only do my special education students utilize the room, many regular education students also are coming her to find comfort. And, now those students are bringing more friends. Through another donor source I am also able to provide snacks for hungry students. Having the safe space and food for the students has made so many students days at school better. Again I can not thank you enough! Please again except my apology for the late letter. Through this grant my classroom has become a revolving door which makes it very difficult to get things done. I am very grateful for that though.
