The markers and cleaning supplies have been used every single day so far because we use our whiteboards very often as a class. My students get to work through problems, show their thinking, and share their strategies on the boards, which has made our math lessons much more interactive. The lamps have also made a big difference in our classroom. They create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, which is especially encouraging in a math classroom where I want students to feel comfortable taking risks, making mistakes, and asking questions.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the school year, my students will keep using these materials during our daily math lessons and collaborative activities. We are working on building strong math routines and learning how to explain our thinking rather than simply finding an answer. I am excited to continue creating opportunities for students to work together, use the whiteboards to make their thinking visible, and build confidence in math.
