Your donations of laminating sheets, Astrobrights paper, string lights, and classroom supplies have made a tremendous difference in how my students learn and engage each day.\r\n\r\nWe've been using the Astrobrights paper and laminating sheets to create colorful, durable materials for our interactive notebooks. The students have been building foldables for math, science, and ELA — from place-value practice to text-structure tabs — that they can refer to all year long. Seeing their work displayed in bright colors has sparked so much pride and ownership!\r\n\r\nWhen my students first walked in and saw the newly organized space glowing under the string lights, their faces absolutely lit up to match. The classroom feels warmer and more inviting — a place where they want to learn and take part. Several students even said, \"It feels like our own little world in here!\"\r\n\r\nOur next big step is expanding our interactive notebooks into science investigations, where students will record their observations, diagrams, and reflections in a hands-on way. The materials you provided are helping us build strong, confident learners who are excited about their progress.\r\n\r\nThank you again for supporting our classroom community and believing in my students. I reinforce with them that in order to be successful they need to talk to each other and work together. They are also learning about good sportsmanship, on how to lose gracefully and congratulate the winners. \r\n They love this activity and look forward to every Wednesday. In their journal, they log their stories, draw the stories, and find words that have the secrets in them. The materials you donated have made a huge impact on our classroom. My students have been so excited to use the wobble stools, sentence-builder puzzles, kinetic sand, and more. Even I've been loving the new computer mouse, which has made me much more efficient, as well as the Lysol wipes, which help keep our space clean and germ-free.\r\n\r\nThe wobble stools have been a particular hit. The old chairs now sit unused in a corner of the room while the students enthusiastically choose the wobble stools for tabletop tasks. The movement helps them rock back and forth, which is known to improve attention and focus. Seeing their excitement and engagement has been so rewarding.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, my goal is to continue providing the best resources for my students to help them grow and thrive. I am already planning a \"calming corner\" in our room, a space where students can go to rest and reset when they need a moment. My hope is to add a rug, bean bags, sensory tiles, and stuffed animals to this area to create a truly supportive and comforting space.\r\n\r\nThank you again for helping me take the first steps toward achieving this goal. Once they're done their regular work, they will go over there to the differentiated centers, and quietly bring the task over to their table to complete. \r\n\r\nBeing independent in their learning has completely helped them and taking responsibility for their learning. I am forever grateful for the donation that helps my classroom be able to have this option. The different colors in the centers are for different levels for the students.
