These resources have greatly benefited my students—not only during the regular school year but also throughout summer school. They have been an incredible tool for getting words in front of students in meaningful ways.\r\n\r\nThis resource has sparked wonderful conversations about language. Students are not only discussing words they already know, but they are also being introduced to new vocabulary, expanding their knowledge and confidence.\r\n\r\nAnother great benefit is that the materials are designed at just the right level for my students, with strategies that are proven to work. For interventions, this has been especially valuable. The activities are quick and effective, allowing us to transition smoothly into other parts of the lesson while still giving students a boost in their reading abilities. Most importantly, these resources are helping students build confidence and excitement around reading.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making this possible for my classroom!","fullyFundedDate":1741114446048,"projectUrl":"project/phonics-and-spelling-resources/9088754/","projectTitle":"Phonics and Spelling Resources","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Madden","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9776578_orig.jpg?crop=432,432,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1727192301491","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9776578"},{"teacherId":9008799,"projectId":9036344,"letterContent":"I am so appreciative of your generosity towards me and my students! We received the notebooks and carpet spots this week and it was so much fun opening these materials. My students were super excited! The journals are the perfect size for writing responses and other written activities. Students are able to keep these in their book boxes and use them daily. They love the mini size and love writing in them. We are eager to use the colorful carpet spots to increase collaboration during lessons and make discussing with one another easier. \r\n\r\nThank you again for donating to my classroom! The snap circuit kits have allowed my students to explorer different elements within circuits.\r\n For example this project has allowed my students to develop some independence and self initiative. When things didn't work out the first time some had to learn how to go back through the system and problem solve and find out why there's wasn't working. This allowed for some great conversations.\r\n There was lots of excitement when they were able to independently complete the circuit by themselves. This gave them lots of self-value and personal accomplishment. For some in my building that is a much needed thing. \r\n Also during this projects several students had some great light bulb moments of, this is how electricity connects to a light bulb.
