McGregor is a Title 1 school, with all of my students with free and reduced lunches. My students come from a variety of backgrounds. My students are high needs and high behaviors, they came into 1st grade at a pre-k reading level. They require a lot of resources to make them successful, one of those resources is food. They want and need snacks to be able to be successful in my classroom. Due to their low level reading, I also need a lot of support systems in place. Something I really want is a sound wall for them. These are pricey and not provided for me. Again, due to their high behavioral needs, movement and giving them a “show” is needed as well. Therefore, needing more types of resources in my classroom is necessary, I am trying to provide more hands on and real world learning but can only do so much with my own funds. I would be so incredibly thankful and appreciate any help & support I can get for my student.
