Often, a \"stomach ache\" or a \"scratch\" is a child's way of seeking a moment of peace when they are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or dysregulated.\r\n\r\nHow Your Donation Changed Our Day-to-Day:\r\nPhysical Comfort: The new fidgets, lap pillows and breathing balls allow me to provide immediate, tangible care that lowers a student's stress levels instantly.\r\n\r\nA Safe Space: With the sensory sensory toys and soft blankets, we have transformed a corner of the clinic into a \"recharge station\" where students can practice breathing exercises before returning to class.\r\n\r\nInstructional Time: Because we now have the right supplies on hand, we can address student needs more efficiently. This means students spend less time in the clinic and more time in the classroom, feeling supported and ready to learn.\r\n\r\n\"When a student walks in overwhelmed, having the right resources allows me to say 'I have exactly what you need.' That moment of validation is the first step in helping them regulate their emotions.\"\r\n\r\nThank you for recognizing that student health is holistic.
