Oftentimes, students who need a supportive space to calm down or feel comforted are also dysregulated so there's a chance that they might destroy a library book. Instead of putting regular books in this spot, I put some of the books we received with your donations in a \"look book\" basket for easy browsing. I have already seen students looking at these materials and enjoying them. \r\nYour financial support also allowed me to order more diverse books to add to our library collection. At our school, we have many diverse learners and it is important to me for our library to have books that reflect our students, their cultures, and families. Some of these books will help our students learn about friendship, belonging, and working hard to accomplish your goals. I think these books will be a great addition to our library and I can't wait to get them into the hands of our students!","fullyFundedDate":1746453675690,"projectUrl":"project/the-power-of-pages/9232171/","projectTitle":"The Power of Pages","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Norman","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3337253_orig.jpg?crop=1536,1536,x0,y194&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1738977519285","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/andrea-norman"},{"teacherId":3337253,"projectId":9105097,"letterContent":"My first grade students are using these new, donated resources during their library center time.
