Yes, they can get breakfast at school and lunch, however, if students are late coming to school, they miss breakfast. Thanks to your generous support, I am now able to offer snack to help bridge the time until lunch. I've even had students who have moved on to 4th or 5th grade come back because they forgot snack, were hungry, and knew I could help them out. \r\n\r\nI couldn't do this without you. This has forced a shift in our classrooms and tools we provide for kids. The Calming Tools you helped me purchase are the one way I am providing some calming of the anxieties for kids.\r\n\r\nThe tools help kids soothe themselves with providing a focusing effect for them while listening to we learn to use these tools as tools and not toys. We learn to be discreet with them so as not to distract others and defeat the purpose. The addition of the jellyfish tank has been so wonderful. The kids check in with them each morning and enjoy watching them swim. \r\n\r\nWe all appreciate your donation and want you to know the positive impact it has had in our classroom.
