Having their own work displayed has turned our walls into an interactive learning space that students actively reference throughout the day.\r\n\r\nThe students were beyond excited! They were full of smiles and questions, and many said things like, \"That's for our work!\" They immediately understood that the ladders meant their learning would be showcased. Seeing how important their work was to our classroom environment made them feel valued and proud, which boosted their motivation and confidence.\r\n\r\nOur next steps include expanding our writing and math displays. Students are currently working on labeling pictures in complete sentences and representing numbers in multiple ways. Using the step ladders, I'll continue rotating student work and visual supports so lessons stay fresh, accessible, and meaningful.
