These folders may seem simple, but they have already made a real difference in our Spanish classroom. My students are now able to keep their notes, handouts, vocabulary sheets, and classwork organized in one place. For many of them, having a folder just for Spanish helps them feel more prepared and more confident when they come into class.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the folders, they were excited because they knew the materials were meant for them. It gave them a sense of ownership over their learning. Instead of loose papers getting lost in backpacks or left behind, students now have a place to keep track of what we are learning each week. I have seen students open their folders during activities, look back at their notes, and use them to help complete assignments and projects.\r\n\r\nRight now, we are using these folders as part of our ongoing Spanish lessons and projects. Students are collecting notes, vocabulary, sentence starters, and rough drafts that will help them prepare for future speaking and writing assignments. The next step is for them to use these materials to build stronger paragraphs, participate in conversations, and complete classroom projects with more independence. Thank you again for supporting my students and giving them resources that help them stay organized, focused, and successful.","fullyFundedDate":1754437840741,"projectUrl":"project/binders-and-brains-honors-spanish-ready/9461596/","projectTitle":"Binders and Brains: Honors Spanish Ready!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Pitts","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9724519_orig.jpg?crop=768,768,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1725348181095","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/sr-pitts"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_11923","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1831,"numTeachers":116,"percentFrplEligible":69,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":26,"percentWhite":62,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":7,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":2,"gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"15.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":67.2,"schoolId":11923,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Mary G Montgomery High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Mary G Montgomery High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/alabama/mobile-county-public-schools/mary-g-montgomery-high-school/11923"}
