Because of your generosity, my students were able to create their very own food trucks—and they had an absolute blast. With the cardstock and markers you helped provide, they designed logos, decorated their trucks, and even planned full menus.\r\n\r\nThis project wasn't just fun—it also packed in a lot of learning. My students had to budget what they could \"afford\" to put on their truck, decide on pricing for each menu item, and figure out how to stay within their limits. It was amazing to see them so engaged in math without even realizing how much thinking they were doing. They were problem-solving, planning, and applying real-world math every step of the way.\r\n\r\nNext, we're inviting the younger classes to visit our room for a gallery walk of all the food trucks, so they can see what kinds of fun, hands-on projects they have to look forward to.
