Students in our area are often lacking in essential needs which impacts them in the classroom. One need is nutrition and food in general. Most students in my room do not have the means to buy snacks or food to eat throughout the day or eat much at home. This impacts their ability to focus in the classroom. \r\n\r\nBy providing snacks throughout the day, especially if they missed breakfast or need an afternoon pick me up, your donation has assisted students in their ability to concentrate on their work instead of their growling stomachs. I know I often struggle to focus when I am hungry.\r\n\r\nThe batteries help to keep our calculators working to help students when they work on math from other classes. The tissues help this time of year especially. Back to school brings so many health issues. \r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you.
