The trophies have been rewards when we play review games like kahoot or a surprise when a student answers a question. I have seen the students showing off their trophies to the friends in the hallway and it definitely builds excitement. For the maps, we have laminated some of them to be able to have the students write on them so that they know where all the countries are. The biggest part will be when we get to WWII so that the students can label the countries and the battles to be able to show the movements.
