Items such as prizes, desk socks, and other incentives have helped motivate students and create a classroom environment where students feel proud of their accomplishments. We've been using new and used books donated by the community to share the joy of reading with our wider community. The students take pride in helping stock and organize the Little Free Library, which sits along the trail in our town and is accessible to everyone at any time. It has truly become a special bridge between our school and our community.\r\n\r\nOne of the most meaningful classroom moments came when students realized that the books they placed in the library were being borrowed by local families, walkers, and even cyclists who pass by the trail. They felt a sense of pride knowing they were helping to spread literacy and kindness beyond the walls of our school.
