My students have benefited tremendously from the materials that you donated to my classroom! The impact that these materials have had on my students is tremendous!\r\n I am excited to continue to utilize sand trays, Wiki Stik, Magnatiles, and red crayons for bumpy boards in my instruction. I am grateful to still use these materials with my small groups. Not only does it make instruction enjoyable, but my students are learning and applying the skills that they are learning. The opportunity for my students to use these materials during their intervention time is also helping to motivate them and provides them with another way to learn their skills in reading. My students are showing a lot of improvement, and it's all thanks to you for your generosity. \r\n Even when I was a classroom teacher, I implemented these materials for multi-sensory learning in reading, along with Orton-Gillingham strategies. Now, as a Reading Specialist, I am primarily working with students who have deficits with their reading progress and reading disabilities. Being able to continue to provide multi-sensory instruction and Orton-Gillingham strategies with these materials has had such a profound impact on my students. \r\n Thank you for the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to purchase supplemental materials for my students. Moving into my new position meant that I was in need of additional materials. I am very selective on who I purchase materials from. My students have benefited from word work activities, decodable texts, and morphology activities to supplement their learning. My second, third, and fourth grade students are building words and multi-syllabic words with the Wiki Stix and Magnatiles. My second graders are working on sounds and high frequency words with their sand trays. My second and third graders are working on high frequency words with their red crayons on bumpy boards, and the best part is that they are retaining what they learn!\r\n Thank you again for this opportunity! I am honored to receive your generous donations to continue to make an impact with my students, as well as, improve the literacy rate in my school. I look forward to continuing to implement these materials in the coming years!","fullyFundedDate":1764613651290,"projectUrl":"project/multi-sensory-literacy-instruction/9925036/","projectTitle":"Multi-Sensory Literacy Instruction","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Fox","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9904888"},{"teacherId":9392491,"projectId":9924961,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support and for providing our classroom with these wonderful new items. Your kindness is already making a meaningful difference in our students' daily learning experiences.\r\n\r\nThe erasable pens have been a huge success. They are encouraging students to write more confidently, practice spelling our unit words, and add creativity and flair to their work. The ability to easily revise has reduced frustration and increased motivation, and we are seeing more engagement and growth in writing as a result. Our journals are now full of colorful, thoughtful work that students are proud to share.\r\n\r\nWe also truly appreciate the new light covers. Students noticed the difference immediately and described the classroom as \"calm,\" \"peaceful,\" and \"relaxing.\" This softer environment helps create a space where students feel comfortable, focused, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nYour generosity is helping us build a classroom that supports both academic growth and student well-being.
