Because of your generosity, the varying materials we were able to receive has had an impact on every student of my diverse classroom. \r\n The sensory brushes are popular. When I first put out the materials in the sensory area and let the students have a look, one loved the brush and started going around the room showing everyone how cool it was. Everyone loved them. A few students love to use them on their hands during lessons to help them focus. \r\n The spin chair is the personal favorite of a particular student, and she loves to have her peers and classroom staff spin her. When she is feeling low energy or sad, the spinning chair is always what she chooses to cheer herself up. \r\n The bounce board and the peanut ball often serve as flexible seating for my students who don't learn best in traditional classroom seating. Seeing their excitement reminded me how meaningful it is for students to have resources that make learning feel inviting and accessible.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the school year, we will use these materials during small-group instruction, independent practice, and hands-on projects across different subjects. My goal is to continue building a classroom community where every student feels that they belong and has the tools they need to grow.
