Their eyes lit up as they noticed the little rooms, furniture, and dolls. It was wonderful to watch students share their excitement in ways that felt comfortable to them. Because the play is open-ended, each child can participate in a way that fits their needs and interests. One special classroom project is creating a \"home for our dolls.\" Together, we are deciding what each room might need. Students help place a bed in the bedroom, a table in the kitchen, or a chair in the living room. We talk about where objects belong and practice concepts such as in, on, and next to. \r\n\r\nOne memorable moment came when a student picked up a doll and carefully tucked it into a bed. Another student noticed and brought over a blanket. Their shared play gave us a lovely chance to celebrate cooperation and connection. The dollhouse also helps us practice everyday routines in a playful, low-pressure way. Students can act out getting ready for the day, sharing a meal, or putting toys away. These pretend scenes let us model simple steps and give students time to explore familiar experiences. We can follow each student's lead, introduce new ideas gently, and encourage communication without expecting every child to play in the same way.\r\n\r\nYour contribution has given our students more than a dollhouse, it has created new ways to explore, express themselves, and learn alongside their classmates.
