Using the new technology, they are learning how to draft stories, revise their work, and format pages just like professional authors. This hands-on experience has made writing more engaging and meaningful, helping students gain both skills and confidence.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for the students is seeing their creativity come to life on the page. Some who were once shy about sharing their ideas now proudly present their books to the class, while others experiment with illustrations, layouts, and storytelling techniques. Your support has made this empowering learning experience possible, and we are thrilled to watch our students grow as writers, creators, and storytellers.","fullyFundedDate":1715104774624,"projectUrl":"project/print-n-learn/8186140/","projectTitle":"Print 'N' Learn","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Janet Romero","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7495131_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1600228320446","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-janet-romero"},{"teacherId":7495131,"projectId":9273757,"letterContent":"As we wrapped up the school year, we took time to celebrate all that our students have accomplished, much of which was made possible because of the new resources in our classroom. Their reactions when the materials first arrived were priceless, eyes wide with excitement and hands reaching out eagerly to explore. That enthusiasm carried through the year, turning everyday lessons into moments of discovery and pride. These resources helped transform abstract ideas into hands-on learning experiences, giving students both confidence and joy in their work.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, the momentum doesn't stop here. The next steps for my students include building on these skills as they transition into the new school year. For example, many are now more confident writers, researchers, and presenters, and they will carry these strengths into their future projects. What excites me most is knowing that they now see themselves as capable learners who can use tools and creativity to solve problems and share their ideas. Thank you for giving them that gift, it has been incredible to celebrate their growth together this year.","fullyFundedDate":1746663700995,"projectUrl":"project/end-of-the-year-celebration/9273757/","projectTitle":"End of the Year Celebration!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Janet Romero","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7495131_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1600228320446","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-janet-romero"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_82818","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":732,"numTeachers":24,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":29,"percentWhite":35,"percentIndigenous":3,"percentLatinx":23,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"30.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":73.4,"schoolId":82818,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Mariposa School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Mariposa School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/lancaster-school-district/mariposa-school/82818"}
