The alphabet carpet makes our classroom feel more like a home. The children each have their own letter to sit on when we complete our lessons about letters and numbers. We love dancing and singing together on the carpet. The children listen to numerous stories and puppet shows. They also enjoy using the area to play with blocks, trains, and other toys. At nap, the carpet is truly a soft space for our students to rest on with their mats. \r\n\r\nAs an educator, this year it has been very difficult to transition from our old building to our temporary building while our new school is being built. When the move was completed and we no longer had our carpet, I was very upset. The alphabet carpet is what brings us together as a family and not just a class. Of all my Donorschoose projects, I feel this has been the most meaningful because your donations made our classroom feel more like a warm, loving and fun space to gather and learn. We appreciate our carpet every day! \r\n\r\nYour caring generosity has helped to make our classroom complete, and it looks beautiful!
