Students struggled to navigate their assignments using finicky laptop trackpads, and our headphones were constantly tangled in a messy pile that ate up precious learning time. This also eases the frustration for those students whose families are unable to afford a mouse and/or headphones for school use because each student now has the ability to have this helpful equipment regardless of their family's financial situation.\r\n\r\nNow, the atmosphere in our room is completely different. My sixth graders were absolutely thrilled when the boxes arrived. The individual mice have given them the precision they need to easily navigate educational software and build their digital literacy skills without frustration.\r\n\r\nThe clothing rack, from which I hang bags containing a pair of headphones and a mouse, has been an absolute game-changer for our classroom. The students take immense pride in hanging up their headphones neatly, and we no longer waste the first ten minutes of reading centers untangling cords! Finally, the cordless teacher mouse and keyboard have allowed me to break away from my desk. I can now advance slides and facilitate lessons from anywhere in the room! This means that I can stand right next to the students who need my support the most while keeping the rest of the class engaged.\r\n\r\nYour belief in our classroom has not only provided us with essential tools, but it has also shown my students that there is a whole community of people rooting for their success.
