Your generosity is already making a difference, and I can't wait to tell you about it. \r\nFirst off, some materials I received will be used in future lessons that align with our curriculum, so we haven't pulled them out yet. The microscope, insects and life cycle of a chicken egg will all be in lessons coming up in the near future. I can't wait to see how my students make learning connections and find joy with the hands on learning tools we now have because of you. \r\nOur science and non fiction books are a big hit. Students get to use these during our independent reading time and they love coming and telling me all the facts they have learned as they read them. We were learning about the Indus River in India and a student found out that there are dolphins in the Indus River through one of our books. \r\nStudents also use the seat cushions during independent reading time so they can have a fun and comfortable spot as they read. I love making our classroom feel more like home and a safe place for them to enjoy.\r\nThe play dough toys and tools are a huge win. The kids love having time being creative and artistic with them and love playing pretend store.
