My students use the pencils every day for writing assignments and classroom activities, while the stickers and stamps allow me to recognize their effort, participation, and growth. The cart with drawers has also helped me keep frequently used supplies organized and accessible, giving our classroom a more organized and welcoming environment. The bulletin board borders have helped me set up a space to showcase student work and make our classroom feel more like a space that belongs to them. The wipes have also been especially helpful for keeping shared materials and classroom spaces clean throughout the day.\r\n\r\nMy students were excited to see the new supplies, especially the stickers, stamps, and pencils. They immediately wanted to see the different stickers and stamps I could use to recognize their hard work. Even small things like receiving a sticker or stamp have helped motivate students to participate, complete their work, and take pride in their accomplishments.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue building students' confidence as writers. We are working on completing writing and grammar practices as we get ready to write 5 paragraph essays. I plan to use our bulletin boards to showcase student writing so that students can see their progress and celebrate one another's accomplishments. As we continue throughout the school year, these resources will help create an organized, positive classroom where students feel encouraged to participate, take risks, and grow as learners.","fullyFundedDate":1778960075650,"projectUrl":"project/help-brighten-a-bare-classroom/10281008/","projectTitle":"Help Brighten a Bare Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Mendoza","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10507201"},{"teacherId":6752738,"projectId":4427603,"letterContent":"It's been an honor to be a recipient of DonorsChoose for many years. I include them and real-life situations, especially positive ones. The community that they live in isn't ideal for positive role models and such.
