We use it every day during morning meetings, whole-group lessons, read-alouds, songs, and hands-on learning activities. One of our favorite moments is gathering together on the rug to share ideas, practice new skills, and celebrate each other's accomplishments. It has created a welcoming space where our Pre-K students can learn, connect, and feel like they are an important part of our classroom community.\r\n\r\nWhen our students first saw the new rug, they were so excited! They immediately wanted to sit on the rug, explore it, and talk about how we could use it in our classroom. They loved seeing the buttons and having their own button to sit on the rug! They were especially excited to have a comfortable space amd own safe spot as I call it. It's a place where everyone could gather together. Seeing their excitement reminded me how meaningful even simple classroom resources like a classroom rug can be when they create opportunities for children to learn and grow together.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our current lessons, we are looking forward to using our rug for more hands-on learning experiences, group discussions, storytelling, and collaborative activities. Our next steps are to encourage students to share their ideas, ask questions, work together, and build confidence as learners. We are so grateful to you for helping to make our classroom a place where learning feels exciting and fun. Your support is making a difference in the everyday experiences of our little learners!
