It has been such a huge blessing to have these new items in my classroom. From the first day that the items started to arrive, the students have been so excited. They have used them since that first day!\r\nFor example, many of my students need a quiet and calm area to regulate. The weighted butterfly has been a huge hit for many, and they often put it over their shoulders. Further, the books about emotions, especially the one about Anger, has been really helpful for students to get some ideas on how to try and regulate, even when angry. The book sling is great to hold the new books. \r\nOne of the favorite items is the materials to grow plants. It is very calming to plant seeds and watch them grow, daily. Part of our daily routine is to check our emotions and then go check on our plants! Because it has been so warm, a lot of the student's plants have grown very quickly! They are excited to get to take them home over the summer break.\r\nAgain, I can't thank you enough for your generosity! All students need to see themselves in books and yet we often miss some of our most high risk students. These books are so important to not only my native students to feel welcomed and encouraged, but all of my students are able to learn about a different culture that isn't always celebrated and noticed. Your donation has improved our classroom library by providing a variety of books that encourage and inspire students. \r\n\r\nThis books are being used by students from kinder to 5th grade. While the younger students are enjoying read aloud and picture walks. My older students are enjoying picking their favorite book to read or have me read to the class. Students are able to engage in meaningful conversations about the reservation just down the road. While native students are teaching us more about their culture by feeling empowered to share their story. \r\n\r\nMy students and I are loving these new books. We are so thankful and grateful that you chose to support our classroom. We feel truly blessed to have these amazing books in our room to share with all the young minds that walk through our door. When my students saw some of the new tools we got, their eyes lit up. They all wanted to know who got to use the new tools next. The excitement and joy was overwhelming. Having students eager to learn is such an amazing feeling. Students get to have fun and learn at the same time. Students don't even realize these \"tools\" are meant to help them in their learning. They just see them as fun activities we get to do and play with. \r\n\r\nOne of the biggest items we have been using everyday is the letter tracing cards and the sand cards. Each of my kindergartners gets to have their own bundle of letters. Each day we go through the sound their letters make. Since tracing and saying the letters with the texture, every student has increased the their number of sounds on our weekly assessments. So your donations for these items are very much appreciated. Allowing my students to learn using multi-modal learning is so important when they are struggling with everyday practice. This allows us to break up the normal, name, sound cards and allows them to practice tracing and saying it. It's amazing to watch the students start to trace a letter in their reading and then able to produce the sound that comes with it, just because we have been practicing with those cards.\r\n\r\nAgain I say, thank you so much for your generous donation. My students are so excited to get playing/learning with their new tools. I am so very grateful that you supported my classroom and my students. The resources you helped provide are already making a remarkable difference. Our students are deeply engaged, using the new books to explore the incredible world of animal adaptations. Their enthusiasm for learning is palpable, and it is all thanks to your kindness and commitment to education.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nIn the classroom, the impact of your donations is clear. Students are making meaningful connections between their studies and the world around them, applying what they've learned from the books and forthcoming resources on animal life cycles. This project has sparked a newfound curiosity and passion for science among the students, many of whom reference the books not only for school projects but also for their personal reading enjoyment. Your contributions have truly enriched their educational experience and broadened their understanding of the natural world.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThank you once again for your generosity and for believing in the potential of our young learners.
