Your donation to my project has been so helpful. \r\nFirst off, it has given my Spanish speaking students the confidence to participate and ask questions for understanding. It has also given myself and other teachers the capability to better understand the students thinking when they talk about what they know and what they are doing. \r\nSecondly, it has also impacted the parents of these students in a positive way too. They can see how hard we are trying to reach them and work with there student too. I was able to use this during our parent teacher conferences without the need of a person Spanish translator of which we do not have the resources to. They were so grateful. It made the conferences an enjoyable experience and not an awkward one. Waiting for a middle man to translate for us.
