Your support brought eight hands-on science activity tubs into our 5th-grade classroom, and they've truly transformed the way my students experience science. \r\n\r\nEach tub includes lab cards aligned to our curriculum, allowing us to explore key concepts like forces and motion, Earth and space, and the properties of matter through meaningful, interactive investigations. We are using these new resources every single week and this is a big improvement to the curriculum. After we finish one science focus tub, my students immediately ask if they can open the next one because they are that excited to keep learning. Instead of only reading about scientific ideas or watching videos, they now get to explore those ideas directly. One of my favorite moments was watching a group collaborate to build a small model demonstrating gravitational pull; they were so absorbed and proud that they insisted on modeling it for their families at home. Parents are letting me know that they are impressed that the car tracks and marble runs are coming out of the closet at home. STEM circuits kits are on wishlists for Christmas. That sense of ownership and real-world connection has been happening again and again.\r\n\r\nTheir reactions when they first saw the tubs were priceless—eyes wide, huge smiles, and lots of \"Are we really using these today?!\" Many have told me in the middle of lessons and labs how much they love science now, and several have said they've never done this much science before. They feel like real scientists, and that confidence is sparking thoughtful questions, deeper curiosity, and great conversations with their families.\r\n\r\nMy goal was to make science meaningful, memorable, and accessible by encouraging investigation, collaboration, and critical thinking. Thanks to your generosity, that goal has come to life in ways I could have only hoped for. You haven't just supplied materials, you've ignited excitement, wonder, and a love of learning in my students.\r\nThank you for giving us this opportunity.
