Located in the common area of our classroom, all students have a dedicated, easy to organize drawer to house supplies, personal affects, and practice key responsibility benchmarks of second grade.\r\n\r\nMy students both this year and last have been excited to use their new drawers to keep themselves tidy and orderly, using them multiple times a day. Students are also able to focus better due to a lack of distractions in their working area. The main items from this project benefit my students in a unique way. The rubber bands are for their chairs and/or desk. They use these bands to bounce their feet on them to help them focus. This allows they to redirect some of their excessive energy so they can focus on their academics. \r\n Another item purchased through this project was wobble seats. Many of my students sit on these and get their movement in while they work.
