The new books have introduced my students to stories that both reflect their own experiences and open windows into new worlds. Through these texts, we've focused on building key reading skills such as identifying themes, analyzing character development, making inferences, and using textual evidence to support ideas. Students are also learning to discuss literature more thoughtfully—asking questions, sharing insights, and connecting what they read to their own lives.\r\nReading in our classroom has become a joyful, collaborative experience. During our independent reading time, you can find students curled up in cozy corners, completely absorbed in their books. In small groups, they eagerly discuss what they've read, debating a character's choices or predicting what might happen next. Our read-aloud sessions have sparked deep conversations about empathy, fairness, and courage—concepts that stretch far beyond the page.\r\nA few students have shown remarkable growth through these new books. One student, who once hesitated to read aloud, now volunteers eagerly to share a favorite passage. Another has discovered a love for historical fiction and often asks to check out extra books to take home. Watching their confidence and curiosity bloom has been one of the most rewarding parts of this project.\r\nYour donation didn't just bring books—it brought inspiration, excitement, and a renewed love of reading to our classroom.
