We absolutely LOVE our reading nook! This is the most coveted area in our classroom. \r\n\r\nStudents use this area to access a variety of books. This is where I house \"just right\" books (books at each individual's reading level), high interest books, unit of study books, and \"good reads\" (teacher read alouds that can be revisited). \r\n\r\nThis area is also used as a calm, cozy area to read. Students are surrounded with literature and various comfortable ways to sit/lay. The chairs and cushions are high quality and will last for years to come! \r\n\r\nI plan to rotate the books throughout the year based on our interests, units of study and learner needs as our first grade brains grow and learn. The books are displayed in an attractive and easy to access way thanks to the beautiful shelving and bins you helped me purchase. \r\n\r\nStudents are falling in love with reading while relaxing and enjoying an aesthetic and functional reading area. You have made our dreams come true.
