Your contributions have made a meaningful difference in our daily learning environment, and we are truly grateful.\r\n\r\nMany of our students regularly use technology at home, but having the right tools at school allows us to use that technology more effectively and with greater focus. The headphones you provided have been especially impactful. They help students stay engaged during independent work on computers and tablets by minimizing distractions and allowing them to fully concentrate on lessons, educational videos, and interactive activities. This has improved both their comprehension and their confidence when working independently.\r\n\r\nIn addition to the headphones, the scissors, organizing materials, name tags, and other everyday supplies have brought a new level of structure and excitement to our classroom. These may seem like small items, but they play a big role in helping students feel prepared, capable, and proud of their learning environment.\r\n\r\nSome of our students who previously struggled with focus or organization have really benefited from these resources. Having comfortable headphones that don't pinch their bigger ears has been really helpful for most of them to stay on task, and be more productive. \r\n I received many books- most were selected to add a more culturally-diverse selection to my library, that would allow students to \"see\" themselves represented in text. We used many of the texts during February when we were studying Black History, and the men and women who helped change the world for the better. \r\n I know that these physical items seem small and insignificant, but for my demographic of students, it has helped them to not feel left out or forgotten because of the schools' \"Title I\" status.
