Every day after recess, the students now gather around while I read aloud from our new collection. It has become a magical, quiet time that helps them calm their bodies, settle their minds, and get ready to learn.\r\n\r\nFinally, the new desk name plates have given every single student a bright, personalized space to call their own. It is a small detail that has made a huge impact on their sense of belonging and pride in our classroom.\r\n\r\nWe are using and loving every single item you helped provide. Each resource in this project was chosen with their active learning style in mind. Because of you, we can now use cardstock, laminating pouches, and fresh ink to create durable tools that stand up to the \"energetic use\" of little hands. The dice are already turning abstract math into exciting games, while the dry-erase markers are fostering a growth mindset by allowing students to try, erase, and try again without fear.\r\n\r\nFinally, the mini globe string lights have truly transformed our room into a warm, cozy sanctuary, helping my energetic learners find focus in a calm environment. Because of your generosity, I've been able to strengthen my instructional practices and bring more structured, explicit writing strategies into my classroom. I am now more intentional in how I teach students to organize their thoughts, build sentences, and express their ideas clearly. These tools have not only elevated my teaching, but they've also given my students the confidence to tackle writing tasks that once felt overwhelming.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments happened during a recent lesson when a student who typically struggled to write more than a sentence proudly shared a well-structured paragraph with the class. Using the strategies I've learned, they were able to expand their thinking and communicate it clearly. Watching their confidence grow—and seeing classmates respond with encouragement—was incredibly rewarding. Moments like this remind me just how powerful strong writing instruction can be in helping students find their voice.\r\n\r\nI'm excited to continue growing as an educator and to deepen my understanding of how writing can support learning across all subjects. I'm especially looking forward to integrating these strategies into upcoming content areas so students can use writing as a tool for thinking in reading, science, and beyond. I wish that words could express how grateful I am to you for your support. Setting up this color printer was really simple, and the fact that it came with over a year's worth of ink is a huge relief. It's a fast and reliable machine that has made my daily prep work more efficient. I use it often to print vibrant vocabulary cards and worksheets that keep my students engaged. Having a high-quality printer right in my workspace has saved me of time, allowing me to focus more on teaching rather than troubleshooting equipment or waiting for slow print jobs. I used to have to go to the office to print. The office is a long walk away, because our school is huge. I am disabled, so it's been wonderful to not have increased pain from extra walking across the school to the copy room. We are in two buildings, with an annex, so it's far. \r\n\r\nThe biggest impact has been the ability to print individual books for my students. By using card stock, I can create durable little books that my students love! They are so excited to have their own copies to take home and read to their parents, siblings, or even their pets and stuffed animals. Their faces light up when they get a new book! I also print reading worksheets and vocabulary cards. I'll share a picture of them. This printer prints colors beautifully! I will share some pictures. Now, their eyes light up every time I hand out a new activity. Whether it's a bright map of the continents or a vivid science diagram of a butterfly's life cycle, having resources that look \"real\" has sparked a brand-new level of excitement and curiosity in our daily lessons.\r\n\r\nThe impact on our classroom environment has been magical. Our anchor charts are now vibrant teaching tools that catch the students' attention from across the room. We use color-coding to help our emerging readers distinguish between different vowel sounds and parts of speech, which has made a noticeable difference in their confidence. The dry-erase markers and erasers have been a total game-changer for our phonics lessons. Just yesterday, I watched one of my students struggle to get the curve of a lowercase 'g' just right. Because of the \"try-again\" nature of the boards, she didn't get frustrated; she just wiped it away and tried again until she beamed with pride. Having the 15-drawer cart has also made our transitions so much smoother—instead of waiting for me to pass out supplies, the kids know exactly where to go to find their center materials. These practical items—from the durable laptop cases to the dry erase markers and erasers—are not just supplies; they are essential tools that enable smoother transitions, foster creativity, and protect the valuable technology entrusted to our young learners. Thank you for investing in the future of our students.\r\n\r\nThe specific items you provided have solved key logistical challenges and enhanced the daily learning experience across all grade levels. For our younger students, the new storage containers are perfect for managing small supplies, teaching them essential organizational skills. The velcro strips and number stickers have made securing and tracking our computers vastly more efficient, minimizing technical downtime and maximizing instruction time. Meanwhile, the over-the-door storage bags for mice and keyboards have decluttered workstations, creating a more focused and accessible environment. These thoughtful details demonstrate a true understanding of the needs of a busy K-8 technology program.\r\n\r\nBecause of your contribution, our technology lab is now a safer, more organized, and more efficient place for every student to explore digital literacy. Your support ensures that our laptops remain protected as they move through classrooms, and that our teachers can spend less time managing supplies and more time guiding students through coding projects, research, and collaborative digital assignments.
