Your generosity has truly transformed our reading environment and sparked an incredible wave of excitement across multiple grade levels. When the new books arrived, the 3rd graders were absolutely thrilled to see them displayed on our new, spinning bookshelf. It has instantly become the coolest spot in the room. This project is doing exactly what we hoped: building foundational literacy skills while fostering a genuine love for reading.\r\n\r\nThe Little Golden Books were a wonderful surprise. Seeing students light up when discovering biographies of Hispanic role models like Lionel Messi and Selena Quintanilla has been deeply moving. These books provide vital cultural representation, showing our students that their heroes' stories are worth reading and celebrating.\r\n\r\nThe impact of your gift is even reaching beyond my 3rd graders. The 4th and 5th graders are already eagerly waiting their turn to borrow these fun new titles as soon as we can share them. Thank you for investing in our students and making our classroom a place where reading is celebrated every single day.","fullyFundedDate":1777477711530,"projectUrl":"project/shelving-the-boredom-with-new-books/10143317/","projectTitle":"Shelving the Boredom with New Books!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Avila","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6701689"},{"teacherId":8051471,"projectId":10135735,"letterContent":"Your kind donation of snacks is a lifeline for my 4th grade students gearing up for state testing. Your support ensures they remain motivated, ready, and focused during this critical period, even improving attendance during the important testing months of April and May. With the energy your generosity provides, students are better equipped to stay engaged and push through challenging reading and math tasks. Your contribution not only supports their academic success but also shows them that people care about their hard work and well-being.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the snacks, they were excited and immediately felt encouraged knowing they had support during testing. We are using these resources each day of testing to help students stay focused and confident as they complete their California State Testing in Reading and Math. A special moment was seeing students remind each other to stay motivated and do their ultimate best. Moving forward, we will continue building stamina throughout testing days and goal-setting so students feel prepared, confident, and ready to succeed academically.","fullyFundedDate":1773527285016,"projectUrl":"project/state-testing-snacks-4th-grade-2026/10135735/","projectTitle":"State Testing Snacks. 4th Grade - 2026","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Alvarado","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8051471_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y90&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1706106265610","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8051471"},{"teacherId":6701689,"projectId":9482840,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for the class clock with timer/remote, whiteboard erasers, bookmarks, birthday cards with pencils and bracelets, and stickers.
