All of the snacks kept the 4th grade students motivated and trying their best for the state tests. All of the students were also extremely surprised by all the snacks and eager to see which ones they would get to enjoy every day over a two week period of testing. Those who read in Spanish are now able to enjoy the same books as their peers, and overall reading in the class has increased. Many 4th graders visit my class in the morning to borrow books. That was one of the goals for this project! My home-based program students can now use a table and other learning material to prepare for preschool. Thank you so much for your contribution. My students were very excited and were interested while interacting with the different activities. The colored charts and white board are very helpful for organizing the different topics/cards. \r\n \r\nFor the month of December, as you can see in the pictures our focus is on the letters J,K, and L (other letters are inside a pocket behind chart). We also are learning about the numbers 4 and 5. The color for the month is yellow and the shape is a star. Our theme is Christmas/Family.
