The students enjoy their daily living class so much more when they can actually do hands on lessons rather than just watch videos. The items like the toaster, dish soap and popcorn machine are essential tools needed for living skills.\r\nMy students were so excited to use the items. They were eager to try them out. You could see in their faces that they were anxious to try out their new equipment.\r\nThe class lesson is more interesting when they can learn hands on, it is so important for my special needs students because they learn valuable skills that will teach them how to be more independent at home. Their faces light up when they learn how to use different appliances and cook and clean. They are learning real life skills that are very important. Future students will use them for a long time!
