We set a end of year reading goal of passing 150 reading levels as a class. As of early November, the class had already passed 94 levels. Students love seeing their balances update in real time and getting digital \"paychecks\" for leadership roles or academic achievements. We're using it to create LEAD expectation posters as part of our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) program. These posters clearly communicate what it means to Lead by example, Exhibit respect, Act responsibly, and Demonstrate safety in every area of the school. Having large, colorful visuals throughout the building helps students easily remember our expectations and reinforces positive behavior every day.\r\n\r\nWe've also used the poster maker to print our school chant and other community building messages. These displays foster school pride and create a strong sense of belonging—students light up when they see the same positive messages repeated across classrooms, hallways, and common spaces.\r\n\r\nIn the near future, we plan to use the poster maker for academic anchor charts, event signage, and celebration displays. During leadership time, they track WIG goals and record weekly reflections on how they demonstrate Leadership, Effort, Attitude, and Determination (L.E.A.D.).\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the new binders, their reactions said it all, huge smiles, excitement, and pride. Over the coming weeks, students will continue filling their binders with narrative, informational, and opinion writing samples as part of our trimester writing cycle. What's great is that is has 2 casters with brakes to keep it in place. Many stopped in front of the cabinets before and after school, pointing out their classmates' pictures and celebrating one another's success. When the first Student of the Month photos went up, there were huge smiles, cheers, and even a few proud parents taking photos. For our younger students especially, it has become a goal — they'll often say, \"I want to be up there next month!\"\r\n\r\nNext, we'll expand the displays to include additional recognition for Academic Leadership, LEAD Leadership, and Peace Patrol service.
