The cushions quickly became a favorite spot for learning. Students who usually have a hard time sitting still during lessons were noticeably more focused and comfortable. The cushions gave them a soft, cozy space to sit while still allowing some gentle movement, which helped them stay calm and on task, especially during reading and writing time. One student even said, \"I like learning here. It feels good!\" It was clear that these simple tools made a big difference.\r\n\r\nThe motivational stickers have become a huge part of our classroom routine. Whether it's trying a new word, participating in a group discussion, or helping a classmate, students earn stickers that bring big smiles and lots of excitement. For my English Language Learners, these small rewards help build confidence and make them feel seen and celebrated. One quiet student proudly spoke in front of the class just to earn a sticker and everyone cheered for him. It was such a special moment that showed how something small can lead to something big.\r\n\r\nAs we move into our next unit on storytelling and sentence building, the cushions will continue to support students during independent work and group activities. The stickers will keep encouraging effort, participation, and progress. Thanks to your support, our classroom is more welcoming, comfortable, and motivating. They were smiling, cheering, and couldn't wait to get started. These markers might seem like a small thing, but they are very important in our classroom. My students use them every day to write new words, build sentences, draw pictures, and play games that help them learn English. One student held up her board and said, \"Look! I made a sentence!\" She was so proud. These tools give my students the chance to try, make mistakes, and try again, all without feeling nervous.\r\n\r\nIn our ENL classroom, we use whiteboards for almost every lesson. We've written about the weather, labeled body parts, practiced spelling, and even played vocabulary games. The whiteboards help my students stay engaged, focused, and excited to learn. It also gives them a chance to be creative and express themselves in ways that feel safe. I've noticed a big difference. My students are speaking more, helping each other, and feeling more confident every day.\r\n\r\nNext, we will be starting a storytelling unit. The students will use the whiteboards to draw their characters, plan their ideas, and write short sentences about their stories. These markers will be used every step of the way. These charts are more than just decorations—they're tools that my students turn to again and again to support their learning. Whether we're exploring sight words, practicing sentence structures, or breaking down the parts of a story, your donation has helped make each step more concrete, visual, and accessible for young English language learners.\r\n\r\nEven more exciting is knowing that this impact won't stop here. The charts we've created and the systems we've built will continue to support many future groups of students as they begin their journey in English.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in our classroom, for supporting equity in education, and for making a lasting difference in the lives of my students.
