Your generosity means more than words can fully express. Many of my students come from low-income households and have had limited access to hands-on technology—until now. Because of your support, they are now able to turn their ideas into real creations, connecting what they learn in the classroom to the innovative world around them.\r\nWith the 3D printer and filament supplies you helped provide, my students have begun learning about the 3D printing process and are starting to design their own creations. They are currently building 3D models using Tinkercad, learning the fundamentals of digital design, and discovering the best practices that make successful models possible. By exploring and learning from designs created by members of the 3D printing community, students are gaining valuable insight and inspiration for their own work.\r\nAs they practice with simple projects such as geometric models, they are building the skills and confidence needed to eventually design and print their own original creations. Most importantly, they are learning that their only real limit is their imagination. Your gift empowers them to see themselves as future engineers, artists, and creators—individuals who can shape the future with their own ideas and hands.\r\nFrom the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in our students and helping make this opportunity possible. You have not only provided tools for learning—you have given inspiration, confidence, and opportunity.","fullyFundedDate":1760368845321,"projectUrl":"project/printing-their-future-empowering-young/9822263/","projectTitle":"Printing Their Future: Empowering Young Innovators","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Jeremy Sanchez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp1887766_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1457806495499","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mr-sanchez-lhes"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_39720","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":476,"numTeachers":29,"percentFrplEligible":87,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":8,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":88,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"16.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":62.0,"schoolId":39720,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Loma Heights Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Loma Heights Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-mexico/las-cruces-public-schools/loma-heights-elementary-school/39720"}
