Your support has helped celebrate our students and strengthen their love of reading.\r\n\r\nOur new vending machine uses the same technology as a traditional snack machine, but instead of treats, it dispenses books! Students can earn a special Lodi token to \"purchase\" a book of their choice in recognition of their achievements. Students are given a token on their birthday, with a PRIDE Pass (positive behavior acknowledgment) BINGO, or when named Student of the Month. The combination of student choice, gamification, and celebration helps create a sense of belonging and excitement for reading.\r\n\r\nThe vending machine is in our Middle School Cafeteria, a central and welcoming space where students can share in one another's success. The machine is wrapped in a Lodi-themed design, reinforcing our school spirit and community identity. \r\n\r\nYour generosity helps us recognize students in meaningful ways and encourage them to see themselves as valued members of our community. By connecting student success with the joy of reading, we hope to foster lifelong learners who carry their Lodi Pride into all that they do.\r\n\r\nBecause this project falls outside our district's normal budget allotments, it would not have been possible without your thoughtful contribution.
