By providing the necessary resources such as noise cancelling, headphones, fidget tools, classroom incentives, and alternative seating, you have provided our student with items that they need to remain motivated and successful throughout the school day. \r\n\r\nIn our small group, special education setting each day is an adventure as we all navigate through unique sensory and emotional areas. Before receiving your very generous donations, many students may have felt overstimulated and some were struggling with their focus. Since receiving these very important donations, our classroom has turned into a much more peaceful place where students feel that they have a fair chance for both their academic and behavioral growth and success.\r\n\r\nThe impact of your donations are visible each and every school day. Two particular students are now able to focus during their general education classes, joining their grade and age level peers because they now have noise canceling headphones, which eliminate the outside stimulus. Also, new incentive programs have sparked more motivation and pride as specific students work toward their personal goals. Thank you, all so much for seeing the potential in our students and providing them with the individual tools they need to flourish at school. Your kindness has not only provided materials but has sent a very strong message to my students that their education and well-being truly matter, even to strangers and that their are very kind people who are always willing to help.","fullyFundedDate":1768658634803,"projectUrl":"project/individual-students-will-succeed/9988922/","projectTitle":"Individual students will succeed!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Gdovichin","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10031286"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_88656","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":628,"numTeachers":69,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":63,"percentWhite":21,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":5,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"9.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":66.2,"schoolId":88656,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Linton Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Linton Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/pennsylvania/penn-hills-school-district/linton-middle-school/88656"}
