Secondly, the chunky crayons are a perfect tool for my students with grip control deficits. Finally, and most surprisingly, I've been able to offer the adaptive \"loop\" scissors to my general education students who struggle with fine motor skills development.\r\n\r\nTHANK YOU for enhancing art experiences for ALL the students in my school. The kids have come up with so many different items they can turn them into. The large quantity allowed each kid to have two different strips, so they can create even more fun things. Some of them have even made attachments for their pencils. An added benefit is the ability to talk about the difference between tools and toys. Kids have quickly learned tools are for learning while toys are for playing. The large variety of color combinations also allows kids to easily determine which snake is theirs if they get mixed together. \r\n The paper pack was put to good use in creating sewing cards around Valentine's Day! Kids enjoyed making the hearts and then taking them home to share with family. The thickness of the paper made it easier for me to punchout the shapes using our die cut machine. It also made it easier for kids to stitch up the design , as the holes didn't rip while sewing.\r\n Finally, the markers have been used in so many ways. Everything from art project to underlining sentences in reading passages. \r\nThe kids were amazed when I told them someone who doesn't even know them paid for all these materials!
