Students make one to two different pages of their scrapbook each week with correlating photos to remember what they learn and do this year. This includes Latine Heritage Month, Lunch & Recess, and field trips. Their scrapbooks all will shine more dynamically thanks to the color printing. In my school district, most 5th grade classrooms are not provided with a rug for students to sit on and learn in one space. The carpet circles have been wonderful to have students gathered together. They have also been useful for independent reading and work time where students have been able to go to their own space in the classroom.\r\n\r\nThe art supplies have been a hit! We started the year using the Posca markers to make welcome signs to welcome in students and families at our entrances. The colored paper has been useful to send home newsletters and will be useful for students to use as they create posters and projects to demonstrate their learning.
