We were able to start the year with a classroom filled with all the supplies we needed. \r\n\r\nSome our the supplies we've used the most are printer ink, lamination sheets, and alphabet puzzles. These every day items have been used to create a bright and print rich classroom, games and activities that meet my students specific learning needs, and help reinforce their foundational learning skills. Everyone comes to my room to print things in color for the classes from posters to run for student body president to pictures for projects - your ink has touched almost every classroom in our building. \r\n\r\nIn the featured pictures you'll get a sneak peek of my kiddos using the resources and how the ink gets put to good use on a daily basis. I use my printer every single day to print out books, anchor charts, games, and other educational activities. I even use the ink and card stock to create posters for fundraisers and food drives. These little boxes of ink have made my classroom so bright that one child said our room looks like a rainbow and it is her happy place. Color ink is the gift that keeps on giving.\r\n\r\nThere is something about a colorful image that really captures people's attention and makes things memorable. But my favorite use for the color ink and card stock occurred when a student of mine was starting a dog walking business in their apartment building. They waited around after reading group and said they had a question to ask me - they wanted to know if I could print out a flyer they made to advertise their dog walking services, so they could help earn some money for their family. His dad was ok with it, so with the color printer we made the coolest looking dog walker poster filled with color and his information. The best part is that he is currently walking several dogs in his building regularly - all because of some ink. \r\n\r\nSo thank you so much for your gift. It is used every single day to make learning fun and colorful. It is also used to make my job a lot easier because I have a consistent supply of ink and most importantly it helps my children in a multitude of ways. We are filled with thanks!","fullyFundedDate":1738004643331,"projectUrl":"project/ink-makes-our-classroom-colorful/9068370/","projectTitle":"Ink Makes Our Classroom Colorful!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Robstad","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2773038_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754830967792","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2773038"},{"teacherId":2773038,"projectId":8788780,"letterContent":"The amount of joy that my children get from these games is immeasurable. When they come into our reading room and see a game set up on the table. instant smiles form on their faces. At the end of the period, they actually beg me to stay and make me promise that we can play the games again soon. \r\n\r\nLittle do they know that each of the games that we play are specifically picked to reinforce the skills that we are working on in reading group. The pictures that I have shared shows my first graders working on building three letter words with short vowel sounds in the middle. Another picture shows my kindergarten group working on identifying letters of the alphabet and the beginning sounds in words. The final group of pictures show my students working on identifying sight words and CVC words. Each of these activities tie directly to their specific area of need and reinforces the skills we are working on in small groups. \r\n\r\nThese activities are SO MUCH FUN! Thank you so much for making learning fun, memorable, engaging, and enjoyable for my students. These games will be used for years and years to come.","fullyFundedDate":1726673868363,"projectUrl":"project/inspiring-little-learners-with-games/8788780/","projectTitle":"Inspiring Little Learners With Games","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Robstad","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2773038_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754830967792","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2773038"},{"teacherId":2027244,"projectId":8925868,"letterContent":"Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We received these materials on Friday and started using them this past Monday. My students are so excited to have access to individualized, hands-on materials during our Science of Reading lessons. The letter sounds are now categorized by color which makes it far easier for students to locate the tiles that they need. The color coding system also serves as an additional memory tool. Finally, having colored tiles is also more fun than basic white. These tiles allow us more time to get straight to work and we can work until the bell because we don't have to put all the pieces back for the next group. We appreciate your generous nature. Please know these campaigns go straight back to students and their learning.
