The interactive and gamified nature of the pods has transformed traditional drills into exciting challenges, encouraging even the less active students to participate more willingly.\r\n\r\nBlazePods have allowed me to diversify my lessons by incorporating agility, speed, and coordination exercises in a fun and dynamic way. The visual cues and instant feedback push students to improve their performance while fostering friendly competition and teamwork.\r\n\r\nOverall, BlazePods have elevated the energy, creativity, and effectiveness of my PE sessions, making fitness more enjoyable and impactful for all students.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for you support!","fullyFundedDate":1741702658439,"projectUrl":"project/fitness-for-life/9065072/","projectTitle":"Fitness For Life","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Proetel","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mr-proetel"},{"teacherId":9646750,"projectId":8623787,"letterContent":"We've been diving into art and jewelry-making projects using the new materials, and the students are absolutely loving it! One standout project was creating custom bracelets inspired by a teacher at our local school. Each student was tasked with designing a piece of jewelry that supported kidney cancer. Using the Orange, White and Black beads they created pieces to show their support for this teacher was so rewarding.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, they become excited for the possibilities! There was a buzz of excitement as they learned and used all the different beads, gems, wires, and tools. They were eager to start crafting, I could see them imagining the possibilities, I would always start them off by sketching out ideas right on the spot. It was amazing to see them not just getting excited to create, but also thinking critically about how to make their pieces meaningful and unique.\r\n\r\nThe next steps for my students involve refining their jewelry designs and exploring the techniques of mixed-media art. After they finish their individual pieces, we'll be working on a collaborative project where they combine their jewelry designs into a larger, community-themed artwork. This will be done towards the end of the school year. This will involve creating a shared piece that represents themes, movies, something important to them. The materials have given them the freedom to experiment and refine their skills, and I'm excited to see how they continue to grow as artists.","fullyFundedDate":1731603130302,"projectUrl":"project/early-2000s-familiarization-and-practi/8623787/","projectTitle":"Early 2000's, Familiarization and Practice","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Richardson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9646750_orig.jpg?crop=2173,2173,x385,y592&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1723593397418","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9646750"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_31547","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":911,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":21,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":79,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":12,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 9","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":80.6,"schoolId":31547,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Lincoln Academy on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Lincoln Academy","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/utah/utah-department-of-education/lincoln-academy/31547"}
