Students have been able to get a refresh of their daily needs in the classroom from new pencil boxes, markers, dry erase markers, supply bins, and so much more! They have felt pride and excitement to have new materials to finish their school year strong!\r\n\r\nTheir faces when they walked in to see the new supplies were awesome. You would have thought it was their birthday! Something new and exciting in our classroom! They helped to create an appropriate set of expectations so that everyone would be respect of others new materials. They each take such pride in working with their tools and keeping their things in order.\r\n\r\nThese resources have allowed all of my learners to feel more comfortable and at peace in our classroom. So many of kids have given me wonderful feedback, 'These markers are scented and fancy!' and 'These pencil boxes help me to find things easily!' We also share ideas about how the characters in the book connect to our lives. This is a huge difference for us from the book club literature we had previously!
