The students are learning the parts of the plant in class and then applying that knowledge in our lab. We are looking at what helps the plants germinate faster and learning the difference in root structures. \r\n\r\nThe items from the grant are also being applied in our greenhouse. We started a gate to plate initiative three years ago and were lucky enough to earn a green house grant. Our students are using the knowledge from the classroom and lab and applying it to the greenhouse plants as well. \r\n\r\nThe processes our students are learning are ones that can be used and perfected during school, then applied during time after school as well.
